I am an Ä°zmir-based translator and editor working on academic and literary translations and editorial work. My work spans from political science, sociology, and philosophy to short stories, poetry, and exhibition texts. I am also a writer. I mainly write short stories and personal essays.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I (still) enjoy shooting film. I got some of my shots published in national magazines and newspapers. I prefer journalistic shots, but lately I've been trying my hand at conceptual photography. You can see a selection of my work here:
CYCLING
I'm an avid cyclist. I mostly do trail riding and cross-country, but from time to time I hit the concrete to satiate my roadie urge.
HIKING
I try to hike at least once in every two weeks. Bushwhacking (off-trail hiking) is my favourite thing to do in the great outdoors.
